Under the authority of section 8 of the Judgment Interest Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to make Regulations entitled “Judgment Interest Regulations (Amendment)” a copy of which are attached to the Minister’s Submission on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council which clarifies that the interest rates set pursuant to section 2(1) of the Regulations shall never fall below a minimum amount of 2%.
