Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Cathy Duke as the Deputy Minister of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, effective January 13, 2009, at her current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation Plan in accordance with the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, on a personal basis, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Ms. Duke’s current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective January 13, 2009, where applicable.
