Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Cluney Mercer as the Assistant Deputy Minister – Municipal Engineering and Planning in the Department of Municipal Affairs, effective January 13, 2009, at his current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, on a personal basis, with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Mr. Mercer’s current salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective January 13, 2009, where applicable.
