Under the authority of section 14 of the Abitibi-Consolidated Rights and Assets Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to:                                                                                                                i) issue a commercial cutting permit, substantially in the form on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, to Abitibi-Consolidated, in respect of the occupation, use and access to properties described in Schedule A of the Act for the purposes of harvesting timber; and                                                                                                                                                                        ii) issue domestic cutting permits, substantially in the form on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, in respect of the occupation, use and access to properties described in Schedule A of the Act for the purposes of harvesting timber to interested persons who held existing domestic cutting permits issued by Abitibi-Consolidated prior to the coming into force of the Act.
