Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Judy White as Assistant Deputy Minister (Indigenous Affairs), in the Intergovernmental and Indigenous Affairs Secretariat of Executive Council, effective June 5, 2017, with salary at Step 25 on the 1678 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, and with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. White to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to June 5, 2017, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein.
