Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Denise Hanrahan as the Assistant Deputy Minister (Financial Planning and Benefits Administration) in the Department of Finance, effective October 21, 2013, with salary set at Step 25 on the 1560 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions to continue to Step 33 and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. Hanrahan to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which will not negatively impact her salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, where applicable.  Should Ms. Hanrahan be appointed or promoted to another Executive position at the Assistant Deputy Minister level, the appropriate salary for calculation at appointment or promotion will be Step 25 of the 1560 point scale.
