Under the authority of section 12 of the Research and Development Council Act, section 9 of the Independent Appointments Commission Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ted Lomond as Chief Executive Officer of the NL Innovation Council on an acting basis, effective July 20, 2017, in addition to his existing duties as Deputy Minister in the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, at his current salary.
