Under the authority of subsection 14(1) of the Regional Health Authorities Act, paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Barbara Blake, as Chief Executive Officer of the Labrador-Grenfell Regional Health Authority on an acting basis, effective August 1, 2017, until such time as the position is filled in accordance with the Independent Appointments Commission Act and with terms and conditions of employment as outlined in a contract on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
