Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to restructure the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment, effective July 31, 2017, to consist of all of those functions formerly within the Department of Municipal Affairs and Environment and all of those functions formerly within the Office of Climate Change, with four branches as follows:
a) Environment;
b) Fire, Emergency and Corporate Services;
c) Municipal Infrastructure and Support; and
d) Climate Change.
