Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit $10,390,500 against its 2018-19 budget appropriations and $4,754,000 against its 2019-20 budget appropriations to facilitate the extension of the current contract with Labrador Marine Inc. for the provision of ferry service across the Labrador Straits.
