Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Brian Delaney as Assistant Deputy Minister – Policy and Planning in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture, effective February 18, 2008, with salary effective January 15, 2008 at Step 17 of the 1450 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Public Service Secretariat for classification, the outcome of which will not negatively impact Mr. Delaney’s initial salary upon appointment, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective January 15, 2008, where applicable.
