Under the authority of section 37 of the Memorial University Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize Memorial University to purchase the Corner Brook RecPlex from the City of Corner Brook, using as a source of funding, the $1.6 million in countervailing savings from its exiting 2007-08 capital budget allocation for this purpose.
