 Under the authority of section 10 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Government Services and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign the amended Memorandum of Understanding Respecting a Federal/Provincial/Territorial Agreement on Vehicle Weights and Dimensions, substantially along the lines of the copy of which is on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council, subject to the addition of an exception clause for chip-sealed and secondary roads with a single layer of asphalt to reduce the maximum load limit from 9,100 kg per axle, with a list of roads subject to the 7,700 kg per axle rating to be contained in the Memorandum of Understanding.
