Under the authority of section 8 of the Status of Women Advisory Council Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint current member, Ms. Phyllis Seymour, as an Interim Vice-President of the Provincial Advisory Council on the Status of Women – Newfoundland and Labrador, effective from a current date until June 30, 2008, in the place of Ms. Artiss who will be taking a temporary leave of absence from the Council.
