Under the authority of subsections 23(2) and (4) of the Energy Corporation Act respectively, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize that the total of short term loans raised by the Energy Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador and outstanding at any time and the total of government’s guarantees of short term borrowings by the Energy Corporation of Newfoundland and Labrador and outstanding at any time, shall not exceed a limit hereby fixed at $300 million Canadian.
