Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation to pre-commit funds against its 2008-09 budgetary appropriations as follows:

i) Funding of $610,000 for the contracting of architectural and engineering design work for the Colonial Building; and

ii) Funding of $20,000 for the completion of interpretive planning contracts for the Point Armour and Beothuck Interpretation Centre Provincial Historic Sites.
