Under the authority of section 18 of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Act, 1992, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint John Rorke as Commissioner of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Complaints Commission, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Justice Lois Hoegg.  Mr. Rorke shall hold this office until June 18, 2008, which is the remainder of the term vacated by Justice Hoegg.
