Under the authority of section 10 of the Transparency and Accountability Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation, in consultation with the Department of Justice, to undertake the necessary action to establish the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Centre as a Crown Corporation under the Corporations Act along the lines outlined in the Minister’s Submission, subject to a change in the composition of the Board of Directors from eight to nine members, with a Chair to be appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
