Under the authority of The Loan and Guarantee Act, 1957, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Minister of Finance to:

i) extend the $50,000 bank loan guarantee  for the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra Association, with the guarantee to expire no later than August 31, 2010; and

ii) negotiate the reduction and elimination of this guarantee as expeditiously as possible.
