Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Mr. Donald Burrage, Q.C., as the Deputy Minister of the Department of Justice, effective from a current date, with salary at Step 30 of the 2556 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, and with benefits to include the payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
