Under the authority of section 4 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to move that His Honour the Lieutenant Governor, by Commission under the Great Seal of the Province, appoint ­­­­­­­­­­­­­the Honourable Joan Burke as the Government House Leader in addition to her responsibilities as the Minister of Education and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, with effect from May 21, 2008.
