Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funds of $16,594,000 against its 2009-10 budgetary appropriations in order to facilitate the award of the contract to Peter Kiewit & Sons for the construction of two (2) new vessels.
