Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Natural Resources (Forestry and Agrifoods Agency) to pre-commit funds of $6,890,000 against each of its 2009/10 and 2010/11 budgetary appropriations in order to cover cost-shared agreements with AbitibiBowater and Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Ltd. related to inventory management and silviculture development.
