Under the authority of section 19.1 of the Fishing Industry Collective Bargaining Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Chairperson of the Standing Fish Price-Setting Panel, Mr. Joseph O’Neill, to receive a rate of remuneration of $1,000 per day and a prorated annual retainer for the remainder of the 2007-08 fiscal year, effective January 2, 2008 in accordance with OC2006-096; and to grant Mr. O’Neill a waiver under subsection 19(3) of the Conflict of Interest Act, 1995 to continue as Chairperson of the Standing Fish Price-Setting Panel.
