Under the authority of section 3 of the Works, Services and Transportation Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to permanently close the section of highway reservation of the Old Fowler’s Road, at Manuels, measuring some 1798 square metres and more particularly described in Schedule “A” and shown outlined on the plan marked Schedule “B” attached as Annex “B” to the Minister’s Submission, and to authorize the Minister of Transportation and Works to include same with remnant parcels of departmental land, for a total area of 2906 square metres, and to convey same to Atlantic Developments Inc. (or Perry McCarthy in his own right) for the negotiated compensation of $12,046.25, inclusive of HST.
