Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby discontinues the appointment of Mr. Robert Coombs as the Deputy Minister of the Department of Labrador and Aboriginal Affairs, effective July 10, 2008, with Mr. Coombs to receive termination benefits in accordance with section 6.2 of the Executive Compensation Plan Policies and Procedures approved by MC91-0016, with the following exception:  severance benefits (if any) are not to be deducted from other termination benefits.
