Under the authority of sections 10 and 11 of the Executive Council Act and section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Municipal Affairs and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to sign the Second Amending Agreement to the “Canada - Newfoundland and Labrador Infrastructure Canada Program Agreement 2000-2001/2010-2011,” to change the expected completion date of projects from March 31, 2008 to March 31, 2010 and to change the required date to have all funds expended from March 31, 2009 to March 31, 2011.  The Ministers are further authorized to enter into any extensions/renewals of this agreement or the original agreement on similar terms and conditions without further reference to Cabinet.
