Under the authority of section 4(2) of the Public Tender Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the leasing of 5,743 square feet of office space and 790 square feet for garage space for the Government Service Center and the Department of Environment and Conservation Office from Goobie Rentals and Contracting Ltd., 8 Myers Place, Clarenville, for a period of six (6) years, commencing at a current date, with an option to renew for up to a further five (5) year term under a new lease agreement and at a rental rate of $24.41 per square foot, subject to the associated increased funding requirements being sourced within existing budgetary allocations of the Departments of Government Services and Environment and Conservation respectively.
