Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Krista Quinlan as the Assistant Deputy Minister (Fisheries) in the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture on an acting basis, effective December 16, 2013, with salary set at Step 24 on the 1450 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, with a position description to be forwarded by Ms. Quinlan to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which will not negatively impact her salary, and with any salary increase on the basis of the classification process to be effective as of the date of appointment, where applicable.
