Under the authority ofsection 8 of the Economic Diversification and Growth Enterprises Act, upon the recommendation of the Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development, the Lieutenant Governor in Council hereby authorizes the Department of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development to proceed with Infotel Publications Inc. (which operated in Newfoundland and Labrador under the names Infotel Directories Inc. and Vericom Publications Inc.) with a view to having the company formally renounce its EDGE Status, on the understanding the EDGE benefits covered under its contract with Government are to be provided to the surrender date to any of the referenced companies provided that Infotel Publications Inc. complies with all monitoring requirements, satisfactory to the Minister of Innovation, Trade and Rural Development.  

OC2007-540 is hereby rescinded.
