Orders in Council Database

 Under the authority of section 19 of the Financial Administration Act and section 9 of the Economic Diversification and Growth Enterprises Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to make an Order to amend the EDGE Remission Order authorized by OC96-364, to add the following EDGE approved companies to the Schedule to the Order with respect to remittance of taxes payable under various taxation statutes:

                                      i)   Botwood  Fur Ranch Inc., Northern Arm, Botwood with benefits to commence in April 2005;

                                      ii)   Charleston Mink Company Limited, Charleston, Bonavista Bay with benefits to

                                      commence in August, 2006;

                                      iii)   Conception Design and Manufacturing Inc., St. John’s with benefits to commence June, 2006;

                                      iv)   Gin Furs Inc., Deer Lake with benefits to commence April, 2006;

                                      v)    Harcourt Fur Farm Inc., Harcourt, Trinity Bay with benefits to commence April, 2005;

                                      vi)    Nexus Clinical Research Inc., St. John’s with benefits to commence June, 2005; and

vii)   Orphan Industries Limited, St. John’s with benefits to commence November 7, 2005.
