Under the authority of sections 5 and 17 of the Executive Council Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to confirm the Department of Justice and Public Safety, effective October 2,2017, with four branches as follows:

a) Courts and Corporate Services, to include the Office of the Legislative Counsel;

b) Legal Services;

c) Public Prosecutions; and

d) Public Safety and Enforcement.
