Under the authority of section 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Tourism, Culture and Recreation to pre-commit funds depending on the outcome of discussions with the federal government to a maximum of $1,416,000 in 2009/10 and a maximum of $875,000 in 2010/11 against its budgetary appropriations, to enable construction to proceed on the Cupids 400 Interpretation Centre based on the 11,000 sq. ft. plan.
