Under the authority ofsections 63, 72 and 73 of the Environmental Protection Act, section 7 of the Intergovernmental Affairs Act, the “Agreement Concerning The Establishment of a Joint Review Panel for the Environmental Assessment of the Lower Churchill Hydroelectric Generation Project” to be entered into with the Government of Canada and further to the direction in OC2008-360, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation and the Minister for Intergovernmental Affairs to enter into a cost-sharing agreement with the Director of Panel Management of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency, substantially along the lines of the draft agreement on file with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
