Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act, section 5 of the Financial Administration Act, and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Denise Hanrahan as Deputy Minister of the Department of Finance and Secretary of the Treasury Board, effective November 1, 2017, with salary set at Step 21 on the 2556 Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of her appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to November 1, 2017, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary to which she has been appointed herein.
