Orders in Council Database

Under the authority of section 3 of the Public Inquiries Act, 2006, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to make the Order entitled “Commission of Inquiry Respecting the Muskrat Falls Project Order”, to:
a) appoint the Honourable Richard D. LeBlanc as the sole member of the Commission of Inquiry;
b) set the terms of reference for the Commission of Inquiry;
c) set December 31, 2019, as the date for the termination of the Commission of Inquiry and for the delivery of the Commissioner’s report; and
d) designate the Minister of Natural Resources as the minister responsible for the Commission of Inquiry.
