Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to confirm the appointment of  Harman Khurana as Assistant Deputy Minister (Corporate Services and Performance Improvement), in the Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development, effective December 13, 2017, at his current salary and point scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of his date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to October 2, 2017, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein.
