Under the authority of sections 5 and 7 of the Liquor Corporation Act and paragraph 9(2)(b) of the Independent Appointments Commission Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Sharon Sparkes as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation in an acting capacity, effective January 5, 2018, under the terms and conditions of employment to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council, until such time as the position is filled in accordance with the Independent Appointments Commission Act.
