Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Ms. Rita Malone as the Acting Deputy Minister of the Department of Innovation, Business and Rural Development, effective from December 9, 2013 to January 1, 2014, with salary set at Step 13 on the 2328 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
