Under the authority of subsection 26(4) of the Financial Administration Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of Transportation and Works to pre-commit funding of up to $24,775,200 and up to $22,693,680 against budgetary appropriations in 2014-15 and 2015-16, respectively, to facilitate the execution of a contract with Damen Shipyards of the Netherlands for the provision of a second 80-metre ferry vessel.
