Under the authority of paragraph 3(2)(j) of the Public Tender Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to authorize the Department of  Transportation and Works to issue a Request for Proposals for the continued operation of a year-round service on the Labrador Straits for two years, with an option to renew for an additional two years or part thereof, to commence April 1, 2014, in accordance with section 9 of the Public Tender Regulations, 1998.
