Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Katie Norman as the Assistant Deputy Minister, Public Engagement, Communications and Public Engagement Branch, within Executive Council, effective March 12, 2018, at her current salary and Point Scale on the Executive Compensation Plan, with a salary differential to apply of 1% above the highest paid subordinate until such time as, through normal step progressions, general salary increases, or otherwise, Ms. Norman’s salary is greater than the salary of the highest paid subordinate, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of her date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place her, retroactive to March 12, 2018, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which she has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
