Under the authority of subsection 54(1) of the Lands Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council is pleased to amend OC2012-227 to authorize the Minister of Environment and Conservation to transfer the administration and control of an area of Crown land within the boundaries of the Town of Deer Lake (as described in Annex 1 of the Minister’s Direction Note), up to a maximum of 82 hectares, to the Minister of Transportation and Works for subsequent transfer to Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited in exchange for a parcel of land expropriated from the company for the site of the new Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

 OC2012-227 is hereby amended.
