Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Heather Jacobs Q.C., as Deputy Minister and Deputy Attorney General of the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective May 14, 2018, under the terms and conditions of employment to be filed with the Clerk of the Executive Council.
