Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Alan Doody as Assistant Deputy Minister (Government Services), in the Department of Service Newfoundland and Labrador, on an acting basis, effective September 19, 2018, with salary at Step 11 on the 1418 Point Scale of the Executive Compensation Plan, with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of his date of appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to September 19, 2018, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein, and with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply.
