Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Iain Hollett, as the Director of Public Prosecutions, with the Department of Justice and Public Safety, on an acting basis, effective September 4, 2018, with salary at Step 33 on the 1660 Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with benefits to include payment of annual practice fees in the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
