Under the authority of section 9 of the Executive Council Act and the Prerogative of the Crown, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council is pleased to appoint Brian Evans, as the Assistant Deputy Minister (Corporate and School Infrastructure) with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, on an acting basis, effective September 10^th, 2018, with salary at Step 17 on the 1312 Point Scale, with normal step progressions and general salary increases applicable to Executive to apply, and with a position description to be forwarded to the Human Resource Secretariat for classification within one year of the date of his appointment, the outcome of which is to place him, retroactive to October 1^st, 2018, at the salary step that is closest to, without being less than, the salary at which he has been appointed herein.
